  Trotz später Anreise, war alles organisiert. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Alles sehr unkompliziert gelaufen. Taxi wurde pünktlich bestellt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war völlig okay.Würde ich wieder hinfahren... - Ich hatte meine Kopfleselampe im Zimmer vergessen. Decorated and displayed in a very ' classy' way. We loved our stay , the kitchen is wonderful . It has the home from home atmosphere. Loved the room; characterful, tasteful, quirky and t - It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock. For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs (I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met were friendly and helpful.

The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price.   We travelled with our dog and the hotel served for dual purposes. Night 1 overnight stay prior to a business trip flying from Stansted and night 2 an overnight stay en route to Dover. Angela is a great hostess and made us feel so welcome, whilst allowing us our own space. There are walks nearby to exercise your dogs. We also know the Thatchers in Hatfield Heath, - Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful owners, the bed was very comfortable and our room was lovely and clean. Lovely little village, easy to find. We felt very welcome and now we have found Bonningtons we will definitely be staying again before we fly out of Stansted and the fact that it included parking and transfers to the airport was a bonus for us. In the morning Christine prepared a delicious continental breakfast in the living room just for us.
