  The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and lovely and bright due to the double aspect. (No. 5) The bed was extremely comfy with lovely white bedding. The kitchenette area was very useful and well planned. The fan was a welcome addition to the room as the windows don't open so without the fan the room would have been too hot. The room was smart, clean and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel has a modern but homely feel to it and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.

  The Gardeners Lodge B&B has only one room, but what a room! The room is very clean and tidy and has the allure of a four star hotel. You will receive a warm welcome from the young owners. Admittedly, when you first arrive, things seem a little unusual, as you are led through the garden to what looks like a converted garage but once inside, it really is home from home. Lovely comfy bed, very secure and peaceful, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent (especially as it was served in my room - couldn't have been better). I would have no hesitation recommending the Gardeners Lodge to anyone - you will certainly be made to feel very welc
