  Considerate, affable and accommodating staff were present throughout the hotel, from reception to the restauarant. Food was very pleasant, and the general atmosphere was well established and maintained. Very good all round. - Staff were very friendly, and could not do enough to make our stay for comfortable,,rooms were excellent, restaurant and food were excellent, so much so that we booked to eat on our second evening.   We chose Thistle Cheltenham because a few weeks earlier we had stayed in The Atlantic Tower - Thistle in Liverpool and enjoyed our stay so much we looked for the Thistle name for our visit to Cheltenham. Excellent in every respect. The room was easily on a par with Liverpool (except no flat screen TV but this was not a problem). Before we went down... was die leute sagen » to breakfast we had a free swim, Jacuzzi and sauna. - Swimming and going into the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The room was lovely and we have visited the hotel several times over the past 10 years and always enjoy returning to the Thistle Cheltenham. Lovely hotel and the breakfast was very nice. Most enjoyable stay.
