  My husband and I just had a wonderful couple of nights at Oldfields. What made it so special was how friendly the staff are - making us tea/biscuits on arrival and when we got back from a long day out the following afternoon, and giving us helpful info on Bath (where to go, where to eat out etc.). We had a deluxe four poster and it was - We received a wonderful warm welcome from the proprietors,even though we arrived before usual check in. Time. We were given lovely tray of tea & bikkies in their gorgeous regency communal lounge while the attractions of Bath were explained to us. Even though we had chosen the less expensive loft room, the decorations were lovely & it was very comfortable, with a/con(which was very necessary because of the afternoon sun), which made the room very comfortable. The room was small, but clean, which is most important! We only stayed one night and spent most of time exploring Bath so the size of the room didn't hinder our comfort.   sehr ruhig, - We had a huge room - loved the canopy bed. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The mint on the pillow was a really nice touch! - The four poster bed and size of the room made the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.

  Everything! We stayed for one night and were pleased for the whole experience. It was a lovely Georgian House situated on top of a hill overlooking the countryside. It has been kept in an excellent condition along with some modern fittings, such as a lush en-suite for the master bedroom (recommended). Nothing was too much trouble - they provided a free parking permit for us and even moved thier own car so that we could park closer.
