  The Urgup Konak Hotel is just amazing!!! When we search a hotel we want to know if it´s safe, organized, clean, in a good place and with a good price. Urgup Konak Hotel has all those caracteristics. Sehmuz, his wife Melahat, the cute dog and the others members off the staff aren´t just professionnels: they are like friends of their guests. We´ve really loved this place, and we recommend it without - so many things can,t be described in points or even in words. staying in Urgup Konak,is the sort of experience ,i wonder i can have again:unique hosts ,well-decorated rooms,and the ambiance of old but alive house because of the good heart ,friendliness and taste of owners:lovely Melahat and Sheymos. we planned to stay 1 night but then we preferred to extend our stay for 2 more nights to enjoy their hospitality even more.

  The room was quite authentic and cozy; not very spacious but enough to accommodate a young couple. It had a big bathroom with a traditional Turkish bath corner. There was a big terrace in which you can enjoy a nice view of the fairy chimneys around. The location of the hotel was the best as it was 3 mins of walk to the town center. The staff were as nice as any hotel staff should be. - The room decor was rustic but clean & comfortable - just the right atmosphere for a stay in Goreme. The complimentary continental breakfast was wonderful and very impressive - traditional, delicious, satisfying and varied.

  The staff was very helpfull, helped us hire a private tour, recommended great restaurant, the location is incredible, has a great view, it's located at walking distance from the center of Gerome. It was snowing when we went and the rooms had good heating. The rooms are big and spacious. The breakfast was very good and abundant. The hotel has excellent decoration, you will be surprised to see tastefully decorated each corner. Owners (father and daughter) are very hospitable, Staff (Serkan, Emrah, Emre, Sukru and others) are unbelievely attentive and make you at home.

  the staff were very friendly, they helped you with everything. The staff- Tugay was really really nice. He will help you a lot. The breakfast was okay. so close tothe bus terminal. and you don't need to walk uphill to this hotel. Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

  The suites were located close to town which made trips to grab a bite to eat easily accessible. Staff spoke english very well and were more than accomodating booking us tours, storing our luggage and offering us coffee or another beverage anytime we were outside. The rooms were very cute and spacious and included a safe which was appreciated. The breakfast was also quite expansive and served - Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular. We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Ours had two windows that opened to a beautiful view of Goreme and other carved sandstone-like spires. At sunrise, you could see many hot-air balloons ascending in the sky. Fabulous!   Located near the main area meant that I could safely go out at night as a solo traveller. It is the flatter part of town so you don't walk up hills each time you leave your hotel.
