  Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal. We misplaced a wallet containing over £1500 in various currencies and my driving licence. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi beach club).   Our stay at the Chava was perfect from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport as promised with babyseat and on time. We were greeted by the manager which was a lovely touch. Our room had a baby cot as requested which was already set up. The room was perfect for our stay, the staff and surroundings were just great. I was happy with our room but would recommend booking one of the rooms with pool access. The staff and concierge were wonderful and went out of their way to help.
