  Lovely place and location with friendly staff. A beautiful room plenty big enough for us three sharing ladies. In the middle on the island so good location for getting around and lovely little shops. Opposite a very friendly tour agents who was very helpful and pleasant also opposite an Internet cafe and shop which was great for skyping home.   We loved the Relax Bay. The beach bar is fab and the private beach was lovely, although we also felt that it was a bit isolated, which we appreciate that some peple really want, but we didn't, so it was partly a downside for us as well as being a plus for others. The clean swimming pool, and separate low-key beach bar were nice bonuses. For dinner variety, it is a short walk to the adjoining "Long Beach" which has a range of restaurants. Motorcycle rentals are available if you want to explore. Very relaxing.

  We stayed in a beach front bungalow, the two front ones are by far the best. We had ppl asking us when we were leaving so they could try to upgrade to our room. I cannot stress enough how cool the front bungalows are!!   We enjoyed staying at Mook Lanta. Especially because of the great hospitality of Melissa and Nick, the owners of this resort. They will tell you where to find the best places like restaurants and bars. If you booked your room including breakfast, Nick will make you toast with eggs and bacon (or a healthy breakfast if you want to). - We absoloutely loved the lokation. The rooms were very close to the beach and it was jungel feel about it. The owners, Melissa And Nic were great! They where wery helpful and Nic Even took us around the island in his car. The place has wifi and a bar to relax in. They live behind the reseption so if you need anything after closing time it was no problem at all.

  The staff was super friendly. Not all of them spoke a lot of English, but it was always enough to get things done. The resort is ran by Muslims, so you cannot buy any beer or cocktails, but the shakes and virgin cocktails they offer are great. It is on the northern end of Phra Ae / Long Beach with lots of eating options nearby. You can get a Tuk Tuk to Saladan for 100 baht (2 persons) wher - We absolutely loved Sayang Beach Resort. It was so relaxing, everything you need is on site and right in front of the beach. The beachside restaurant and lounge chairs are fantastic. The food is amazing - try the butter chicken curry - it was one of the best curries I've ever had. Our little bungalow was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again as it was just so peaceful! One problem we had was that they didn't actually have our booking... so I would be wary of booking t

  The whole complex is wonderful. There's a very nice infinity pool with a great view of the beach. Restaurant is very convenient and with great service. Staff is extremely helpful and always in the best mood. As for the room, we got a beautiful bungalow. Very comfortable and good A.C. The staff are soo friendly and helpfull! The owner is lovely, we booked just 1 night and ended up staying 6 nights it was great! The pool is great, its right on the beach. I haven't got a bad word to say! Value for money! We definitely will be visiting again. We were made to feel so welcome. Didn't want to leave but we had a flight pre booked from krabi! Fantastic. :)

  Lanta Mermaid is a first-class boutique hotel. Small and personal with a great breakfast and very clean accommodations. The walk to the beach is just 2 minutes across the (busy) road. We were in a room on both sides of the building. The mountain view room was actually nicer and more quiet. I have to admit that upon my arrival I was a little underwhelmed but by thebfollowing morning I begun to see how beautiful the area was. I had one of the standard bungalow at the back of the resort, 1 minute walk to the pool, 2 min to the beach. T - Very good restaurant and very nice staff. Very nice and quite beach and very good location to go to the street to buy something or to take a tuk tuk taxi. Nice place to relax and have a quite stay away from the crowded, noisy and contaminated beaches in Krabi or Phi Phi.
