  Reasonably priced old style, small hotel with a very friendly owner, and a really nice Italian restaurant, in a great location. No TV or WiFi, which was actually great too! Being a little further down the street made it - The location of the hotel was great! The view of the Eiger and Monch are fabulous. Our room had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family of four. The bigger room had a balcony looking out over the valley and mountains. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Great place as a home base for hiking or skiing. The hotel has new owners. They are planning renovations for the fall 2013 and spring 2014. They will be replacing flooring, updating bathrooms and replacing mattr

  The Eiger Guesthouse was a perfect place to stay in Murren. It is easy to find, right across from the train station. It is convenient to everything, and the rooms are very quiet, clean and comfortable. Ema, the owner, makes you feel like family. All the staff are very helpful and friendly.   The 3 room room apartment with an open sitting area and kitchen had plenty of room for our family to relax. The location is close to all nearby amenities including rentals, restaurants, shops, the river etc. The neighbors were very friendly as well. Due to the age of our young children, we enjoyed many meals IN the apartment, instead of strugging at restaurants. The breakfast and morni - The apartment was perfect for our family group. We stayed for a week and never got tired of the excellent views from the balcony! The breakfast was a short walk away but this didn't matter as it was excellent quality. It was also really useful to have a washing machine and kitchen facilities so we saved a lot of money there.

  Excellent hotel. We travelled by motorbike and were provided with undercover parking. Good location with easy access. First class restaurant and facilities. Could not fault - Cooperation of owner, going out of his way to all that was needed.
