  The Barken Viking is very interesting being a converted old ship, it is right on the riverside and extremely close to central station which makes it quick and easy to get to if travelling in on bus from Landvetter Airport. It was a large and nice old ship turned hotel. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Location is pretty good, next to the opera house and the ship museum, and at least a good 20 minutes walk from some of the nice streets in the center.

  The hotel was hospitable. I made a terrible mistake and had booked dates for march and turned up in february. The staff instantly rectified my mistake and changed the dates else I would have lost my booking and money. The breakfast was very nice and filling. They even had a waffle maker which as nice.
