A very good experience: Basically a student dorm that is rented out

Our room, #157 was great and I recommend it: it's a corner room and very quiet. It's warm at night, but otherwise no complaints. There's even... was die leute sagen » a gym in the lower level which is spartan but very handy (and rare in San Sebastian). And and last but NOT LEAST: free parking.

Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.
