  The family were absolutely charming and very helpful - as were all the staff . Location spectacular and peaceful - we had wonderful views of the mountains over the orange trees and couldn't see any of the surrounding houses . We had a very comfortable isolated room and bathroom a short walk from the main house, which suited us . Didn't regret not... was die leute sagen » hiring a car, with the hair-raising mountain roads, but it was about 20 minutes walk to the main bus stop, though only half that to the centre of the - Tranquil setting in orange grove, run by Raphael, Lourdes and their staff who love their home, farm and what they do - nothing was too much trouble - beautiful unspoilt natural environment, breakfast in the garden was prepared fresh with natural locally produced ingredients and delicious marmalade made from the oranges. All the facilities were good quality, no intrusive service but nothing lacking - perfect place to relax

  This hotel is a jewel in the Old Town Alcudia. After having no luck finding a hotel in the Port, we used letsbookhotel.com to secure the Can Tem. What a beautiful hotel this is! Our room was gorgeous and the location is perfect for people who want to experience more than sun, sand and party-life. We highly recommend the Hotel Can Tem when visiting Alcudia! - Only stayed 1 night,if I had more time I would liked to have stayed longer. Huge comfortable bed and nice antique furniture. Very peaceful given the town location (if you don't mind church bells). The owner was very helpful, pointing out access to the kitchen facility, i.e kettle tea/coffee and microwave, which may prove useful if on a budget. If eating out I can certainly recommend the Bistro 1909 just around the corner on Calle Mayor. The meal of the day is excellent value.

  The location was wonderful - we visited just prior to the opening of tourist season, which suited us just fine. The area was very quiet, and everything was close and accessible. We were within 1k of the beach, and walked to the closest town in less than 15 minutes. Bicycles and taxis made everything else we wanted to see a short hop away. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, treating us as if we were - Location is great (700m to Cala Mondrago), everything in the house is in mint condition, very nice and stylish rooms. Breakfast was fine with homemade pastry (cakes etc.) Good pool so you can even not leave the hotel if you like. Yoga teacher comes to the hotel twice a week (10 Euro for a lesson). Best Mallorca's beaches are nearby or can be easily reached by car.
