A real home away from home, this simple little apartment had everything we needed for an overnight stay. - The owners are super-friendly, and full of great information about Jaen.   Pension Montorena is ideally located--15 to 20 minutes walk from major attractions. The facility is very clean and security is excellent. You have to be buzzed in and there is someone at reception around the clock. While the room is quite small, it met our needs as we spent little time in the Pension and when - The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful (older reviews that say the opposite are now completely out of date and incorrrect because there is now a new manager). The location is in a fascinating part of old Seville. The public areas were very pretty: blue tile. Everything was clean. At 18 euros a night for a single, the place was a terrific bargain.

The man in reception took out maps, bus timetables etc. and worked out how to get there for us and which bus to take. The woman in the morning was equally as helpful in recommending a good place for breakfast.
