It really is Perfect! Start with 1) Check-In: The front desk staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful (excellent dinner recs) 2) Lobby and restaurant: Great decor, wonderful vibe (didn't eat there, food looked yum though) 3) Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, spotless, modern decor and excellent shower- rain shower no less 4) Location: Central Palma, close walking distance to several major bus lines, easy access to Palma's nearby beaches via bus lines. This was the first year we have been there. We stayed 11days. I have been there with my parents. So this is a teenager's opinion, who has already seen a lot of fantastic hotels! The Check In was extremeley organized and professional. The receptionist showed us our rooms and he told us everything about the hotel, for example, opening hours of the restaurants, everthing we had to know. Our room was spacious, beautiful, clean with a well stocked mini bar, flat screen tv, lots of wardrobe space - Christine

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are delightful, ready and willing to help with all enquiries. The room we had 540 (as recommended by another reviewer on this site) was wonderful with an enormous bed, well equipped bathroom, all the usual toiletries included and a lighting system that took a little working out but efficient nonetheless. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Wonderful location overlooking the marina means booking a sea and cathedral view room is an absolute must, you will regret it if you don't. I booked direct via the hotel website and opted for their offer which included a late check out and half price evening meal in their restaurant on one occasion as there was no extra charge. We normally stay at the Hotel Mirador next door to this hotel, but they were fully booked, and the Bellver is better. Check in was smooth - the lady on the desk spoke excellent English. We had asked for a room as high as possible - love the view over the harbour - and we were on the 10th floor. The room was fine - big bed and very clean. The floors were carpeted, which avoided the normal Spanish sound of furniture scraping over marble floors at all hours. The room fridge had see better days on t - Rosalia

We had a 6 night stay at this 3 star hotel, not expecting anything too grand, and were absolutely delighted with the hotel, room and more than adequate breakfast. Although a little out of Palma old town the bus (3) took you door to door from the very reasonable cost of e1.10. Would certainly recommend it and will certainly use it again. - Hisham

This is a medium size, spa hotel in a residential area of Palma. The public areas of the hotel are excellent, and in particular the spa complex and the swimming pool. Although we were there in peak season, the pool was never busy because this hotel is unlikely to attract the mass tourist market. What let it down for me was the condition of the corridors and rooms once you get beyond the public areas. This is because we stayed in the older tower block which has only partly been refurbished - Katerina

Stayed at the Palacio Avenida in August and it was fantastic. The rooms, although not overly spacious, were very modern and airy and the decoration was minimal and stylish. The bathroom was great and there was even a jet shower on the wall. The staff were business like but very helpful and the breakfast was very good, although it was just continental, which suited us fine. It is very well placed and the train to Soller is a 2 minute walk form the hotel. Overall, if you're after a modern, trendy - Steve

This is more than a hotel - it also has resort functions (SPA-pool etc.) and the staff was wonderfull setting up tours etc, for us. Everything was on time and the service was great - we would definately go back to this location. Also FYI there are several Tapas places and a wonderful restaurant accross the street for economical purposes - Christopher

I was only staying one night in Palma, so on reflection I shouldn't have picked to stay at Hotel Residencia Araxa, even if it only cost 59 euros for a single (including breakfast). I had read the LetsBookHotel reviews before booking, and while they said it wasn't in the centre of town, I hadn't appreciated that it required a 15 minute bus ride and then a 10 minute walk to get there. Luckily, the bus system in Palma is pretty frequent, punctual and cheap (1.15 euros). Another thing to note that i - Ben

This was our first trip to Mallorca and we chose Palma as a city break for a Bank Holiday weekend and a surprise for my Partner's birthday. We ended up at the Saratoga after a Travel Agent mix up led to our other hotel being cancelled at the last minute. Luckily, although more traditional in style to the boutique hotel we had originally booked, the Saratoga was a really good hotel. The location is perfect for lots of places to go in Palma - we could easily walk to the Cathedral, the shops, the O - Joan

Just returned from seven nights at this excellent Hotel. Not cheap...but definitely worth the money. We have no complaints whatsoever. We booked a rear view room and was surprised to find that it still had a sea view due to the elevated position of the hotel and its location in the bay. We are pleased that we did not pay 100 Euros extra for the Cathedral view. The pool area and gardens are terrific....the breakfast is amongst the best we have ever experienced, but most praise must go to the st - Stephen

Friends and i have just had four great days in Palma staying at the Hotel Mirador. Didn't know what to expect, from the outside as it looked tired and in need of a facelift, the public areas were very seventies kitsch but the rooms were very comfortable and obviously recently referbed to a high, modern standard. Breakfast was very good and there was a very good selection to suit all tastes, the service was efficient and friendly. Overall the hotel was clean, reasonably priced and an ideal bas - Sally

Very central. We had a double superior room, with a balcony at the back (6th floor) overlooking the city. Large room and bathroom. Modern and clean. Breakfast excellant and included in the price. Despite being on a busy road, there was no noise at the back and we slept with the french doors open. Friendly, English speaking staff. It really was a very nice experience. - Gegham
