Many bars and shops can be found in the immediate area. The La Latina district is 10 minutes’ walk from Village Sol Carretas and has a lively nightlife. Mercado de Fuencarral is also a 10-minute walk from the apartments and has many clothes shops.
The Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums can all be reached in 15 minutes’ walk, while Madrid’s Plaza Mayor Square is just 500 metres away.
Sol Metro Station is 2 minutes’ walk away and Atocha Train Station is 15 minutes’ walk from the apartments.

Great choice for reasonable money, center of the city, a few steps to the Prado Museum and other places of interest.
The location couldn't be better -very close to Sol right in the centre of Madrid. Nice modern bathroom, very clean.
The staf were excellent and the apartment facilities too.

Nothing but location.
Many young people walking down the street below windows all night long - up to 6 am... Loud conversations, songs etc. You have to close your window tightly!.
Was fine for me on my own but would be very cramped with more than 2 people. Only window is in sleeping area so mostly needed light on.
Parking bit poor for higher roofed cars, but compenstated with free parking in August in the city.

I booked appartment for 4 adult persons and we get room with 3 sleeping sets.
No towels, difficult to get the key rather cramped for the number of
people advertised.
The room was too small to be called an apartment. There was no microwave, or coffee maker like the other apartments. There was a small space heater that didn't work. When given a working heater, it was too bright to leave on all night to sleep. It was not clean like we have been used to in the past. We have been loyal customers to this apartment for 15 years, and will not go back. We had previously recommended these apartments to friends, but will no longer do this.
Room seemed to be an attic room beams were very low always banging my head. Bathroom very small, nothing going for it at all.
