  Das Hostal liegt mitten in der Altstadt in einem sehr lebendigen Viertel. Obwohl ich nach meiner Ankunft mit dem Nachtzug vor der üblichen Eincheckzeit angekommen bin habe ich schon ein Zimmer bekommen. - Die Mitarbeiter waren superfreundlich, einige konnten auch deutsch. Hilfsbereitschaft steht bei Ihnen ganz oben.

  the hostel is very pretty and the staff is so kind! Rooms and common space are always clean and orderly. You can cooking in the kitchen and every morning there's breakfast until 10. They borrow you hairdryer if you need (for free). They provide you bed sheets and a locker with your key to keep your staff in the shared bedroom.   The host and her daughter are really kind people; however, their English skills are limited. I felt like I was staying with family. There is WiFi included so that's a big plus. The hostel overlooks a street with a few clubs/bars so it can get noisy at night. It is an immaculate,tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious, brand new flat on two levels in an old building; all the of the furniture/bedding/towels were modern and new. This apartment is in the best location you can ever imagine. The bathrooms are great with good water power. Anyhow, it was a very nice apartment and it as convenient.

  First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.
