The location is superb, just off La Ramblas. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. We were at the front of the hotel, so we had a small balcony overlooking the street. There is a lift, essential for people like me who have difficulty with stairs.

Hotel Condal is located in the heart of the La Rambla. It is so convenient to walk 30m and then to enter the La Rambla. The many restaurants, shops and attractions in close proximity of the hotel is a bonus. The reception of the hotel is very helpful, knowledgeable,efficient and available 24hr. Very friendly staff, helpful in any way!
The location is superb - right next to the most popular street La Rambla, but yet our street was quiet and didn´t hear any street noise at all.
Nice, small hotel, seemed to be quite new, clean - will definitely go to this hotel again, when I´ll come back to Barcelona!

the location of the hotel was excellent. It was in a street which was almost in the middle of the La Rambla.
The hotel was clean enough and safe because they were not letting everybody to enter to the hotel you have to ring the bell to enter day and night. The Liceu metro station was 3 minutes far from the hotel. They have recommended a restaurant

Hesperia is a great hotel to stay in if you want to fall out of bed into the bustle of Barcelona life. It is perfectly located for the fabulous Bouqueria Market, shopping, tapas and bars. Everything was good, location is exellent (on the main street of Barcelona), balcony is a great plus. Somebody said that it is a too much noise from the street, but if you close all the windows - there is no noise.
If I will be in barcelona next time, i will stay in this appartment.
