  The place was more like borrowing a friend's apartment than staying in a hostel. It was very conveniently located, being close enough to the main tourist area that you could easily walk there but far enough away to not cost the earth. The owner Silvia was lovely and very helpful and welco - Great location in Gracia, a bit away from the very touristy areas (like La Rambla), but well-connected with metro and buses. Clean throughout and a lovely terrace, and as we visited in the off-season it felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves, as it was very quiet.

  The room size was just fine. We had double bad, desk + some drawers. Room has been cleaned everyday, was really clean, same as bathroom. In room we had a tv, little fridge and hair dryier. Stuff were really friendly. Hotel is pretty small has got 7 rooms, and there is one nice common area for all of guests. Nice suprise first day we had a welcome ... was die leute sagen » breakfest. Location is good as well, not in so touristic area (that is how you can feel local atmosphere) but not so far from all atractions - 35 min - We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 5 nights! After flight delays from Venice we arrived 6 hours late, but manager stayed around to let us in. We chose a smaller room with a shared bathroom/toilet, but we still had a private hand basin in our room. Not many rooms occupied which meant we pretty much had the place to ourselves (mid-December). Our room was cleaned spotlesslessly every day. Our extra days seemed to include a free breakfast because we paid the lady in person. If we had booked onli

  It was a great apartment, about 2 mins from the metro station, not even a 10minute walk to Park Guell and if you want to walk to the city, it took us about 20mins...so very close. The man who checked us in was very nice and also gave us loads of information about what to do and see in Barcelona and also the surroundings.
