  My review is based on booking a standard room, so there is no option of breakfast in the room. The location and value for money is excellent. We walked everywhere on the trip, and the main street is around 10 - 15 minutes walk. Brekfast is served in the hotel based in the same building, not great but enough to get us started. The location is also excellent -- you can easily walk to the Hermitage and Nevsky Prospekt, and it's only a couple blocks from St. Isaac's, but it's far enough way from the main tourist areas that it's fairly quiet. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The breakfast is good -- porridge, boiled egg, toast, coffee, juice -- and it's not a buffet!

I will dfinitely recommend it to my friends and will gladly stay in this hotel again.
