  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... was die leute sagen » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  On a hill overlooking the town and has a nice view from the room balcony. The inside is very nice, and the room feels very cosy with the wooden walls. Don't miss the motorbike ride it is great. - The design, decoration and facilituies is just awsome. Spa is one of the best. Location and weather is very interesting. The people are very warm.

  Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... was die leute sagen » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  Kleines Gasthaus, mitten in der kleinen Stadt gelegen und doch sehr ruhig mit einem wunderbaren kleinen Innenhof, in dem gefrühstückt wird. Imponiert und gefallen hat uns besonders die äußerst persönliche, hilfsbereite und die weit über das Normalmaß hinausgehende individuelle Betreuung durch Youssef, den Besitzer des Hauses. Das Frühstück ist auß... was die leute sagen » ergewöhnlich vielfältig und reichhaltig für marokkanische Verhältnisse. Es ist tatsächlich eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, was man jedoch unbedingt - Ufff, ich glaube alles. Youssef war der beste Gastgeber aller Zeiten. Es ist sehr nett und freundlich. Chez Youssef ist gut ausgestattet und liegt ganz nah von den Sanddünen. Wenn etwas an Chez Youssef uns gefehlt hat, hat Youssef sich darum gekümmert, dass wir es bekommen. Ich kann Chez Youssef für Erholungsurlaub weiterempfehlen.

We were met at the taxi stand by the owner's brother and directed to the hotel, despite the fact that we hadn't thought to advise our expected arrival time.   We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! W... was die leute sagen » e also had dinner there (there aren't many options in Merzouga) and the meal was delicious. - The Seggoui family goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and pleasurable. The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and spotless! If you don't stay here while in Merzouga, you are really missing something very special!

  The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The room is wide with windows open to outside, making a good airflow even though we had to withstand the children's play ... was die leute sagen » noices until midnight. It told us how local people spent their summer night. The hotel is located near a water fountain where ladies came to collect - The lady who attended us was lovely, and the view from the terrace was excelent. Really enjoyed our stay at Al Andaloussiya. I trully recommend it.

Hosts were very accommodating, Mohammed met us at the bus station and helped us with our baggage to hotel, and fed us dinner when we arrived. We were looking to do sandboarding, the hotel helped arrange us a day trip for a reasonable price exactly as we wanted. Breakfast on terrace was really nice.
