Bit tricky to get to town, (1-2 km) Some parts of surrounding area a bit desolate, f.ex. walking to town. Changed room due to smell in bathroom; unproblematic. New room fine.
Staff is very friendly. The restaurant with serving personnel is super. Location is excellent.
Too big hotel
Room was large, beautiful with a rustic feel and very clean. Pool was quiet and clean but a little cold. Poolside was lovely. Bar and restaurant both excellent. Beaches glorious! Villasimius village is a short walk away and is quaint with good shops and bars. All in all a little bit of paradise!

The room; it was obviously recently refurbished to a very high standard. I understand there is further refurbishment to be done. All the staff were helpful, cheerful and very obliging.
The hotel has a private beach. However, unless you are there on an HB basis, you have to pay for the use of daily sunbeds on the beach of between 15-25 Euros depending on your closeness to the sea. I understand that in High Season, the top price goes up to 40 Euros per person per day. Despite being a private beach, hawkers were allowed on to it all day and became an irritant.

Malaysian style of the hotel. Rich breakfast, clasic beach hotel in old style furniture. Very nice garden. You can enjoy free chips, nuts, cheese for drinks in the afternoon in the cafe. If you look for tresor - is behind the picture :-) Free wifi and parking. Quiet hotel, very nice.
Sun beds and sunshade is 25 Euro for first line, 20 Euro for second line and the rest for 15 Euro. Shower on the beach for 0,5 Euro and no toilet. Check in 15:30 and check out 11:00.
The rooms are decorated perfectly! The staff is very-very kind and helpful! There is good restaurant!
You should choose the room! We tried to sleep with the opened window, but it was impossible! The window faced road! It was very croudy! It is ok with conditioner, but also croudy!

It is a fantastic hotel with the most wonderful staff. The restaurant could not be faulted, we had breakfast and dinner there every day and the quality was excellent. A few yards away is the beach with good sunbeds. My wife and I enjoyed this hotel as well as any we have visited.

Spacious and comfortable room. Additional 30euros/day was well worth it for great sea views. Great lounge area next to pool for pre/after dinner drinks. Private path to beach which is right next to the hotel. Good restaurant with large choice on menu.
Mixed views on reception friendliness and efficiency. 2 hour wait for room on checking in without much of an apology. No tea/coffee facilities in room so if you like a cuppa, bring a kettle!

The staff upon arrival were very friendly and this continued throughout our stay. The hotel was beautiful and our room was clean and modern. The hotel is on the beach which was perfect, and the centre is reachable by foot in 30mins, I would say this is the best hotel in Villasimius and I would definitely stay again.

No closed dining room in case of cold weather. Noise. Too many workmen around. Watching them revealed obvious incompetence, e.g. dangerously cutting/fitting a polished furniture board with a chain saw (!).
We appreciated the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness of all the staff. They kept going the extra mile, always carrying a smile to make us feel welcome. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere. I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

A beach location, and truly relaxing hotel.
The main town Villasimius was a long walk, there was no bars or restaurants open near Hotel Simius therefore we had to walk out every evening.

The staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for you. This is a lovely hotel very peaceful and in a perfect location if you are looking to chill out right on the beach front. The town centre of Villasimius is a two minute drive, it's a ten minute walk along a long straight road so you can't go wrong. The breakfast at the hotel was nice, scrambled egg, toast, ham, salami, yogurts, fruit all in a buffet style so you just help yourself and the staff are always around offering you drinks hot and cold, they really are very friendly and helpful. The Indian man at the hotel was our favourite he was always smiling and very pleasant to be around. The pool area is quite small but we preferred to sunbathe at either the beach or the green lawn area that they have at the hotel with amazing sunbeds! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit it again. The drive from the airport is an hour, it's best to drive in day light because the hilly mountains are quite windy and narrow but if you take it easy it won't be a problem. There are lots of private beaches along the coast, caba carbonara was our personal favourite! Our favourite restaurant was also slightly out of town but not very far at all, about a 5 minute drive from the hotel, this was called la lanterna, amazing peppercorn Filet steaks that we had two nights in a row because it was so yummy! Sardinia has the most beautiful views and is very ideal for couples. Villasimius is very quiet and quaint but in the most perfect way.
The only slight problem would maybe be the size of the pool but this didn't affect our stay. The hotel were in the process of building a lovely jacuzzi area next to the green lawn though, we were gutted to not have the benefits of this.

The location is faboulous and the hotel is spottless clean. They did a great job creating a colonial kind of atmosphere. Staff is friendly.
Prices of drinks are high and the additional charge for eggs at the breakfast table (€3 extra for 1 boiled egg) is dissappointing.

Mid april the water of the unheated pool was still very cold. Some degrees more would have made it possible to enjoy fully the garden & pool. This is probably no problem from May on, but this could make it the perfect hotel to relax even in April.
The location is great - a beautiful coastal drive from Cagliari. In early season (April) the beach is deserted and the town itself is just waking up for the summer - so lovely and peaceful. Staff at the hotel were great; they demonstrated a genuine pride in their business and a desire to please their guests.

I had a problem with the cleaning as one of the towels in my room was dirty (I found hair that was not mine) and after I complaint to the receptionist, nothing was done apart of apologizing. One of the waiters is really rude, unprofessional and cheeky. People at the reception are more worried about administrative work instead of caring about the customer service.
Quiet location next to the beach and away from the town, although this is only a short walk away. There are good restaurants nearby. It's surrounded by nice countryside.
We chose a 'superior' room which was very nice but despite being on 'special offer' still seemed on the expensive side. We didn't want to sit on our verandah because it was right beside the sunbathers by the pool. Having paid 140€ a night, we were charged 3€ for a boiled egg at breakfast - why?, when scrambled eggs were included in the 'B&B' room rate.
Excellent location and proximity to one of the best beaches in southern part of Sardinia. Excellent food and wines. Good staff.
