Nicely appointed. Comfortable Rooms Classy Good Breakfast Good Wi-Fi Value for money Big bathroom.
Nothing comes to mind.
Very very nice hotel. You get that feeling of having found that discrete and moderately luxurious place to return to many times.
Maybe the beds are too hard?
Great view from the garden and also some rooms loved our stay
Retains many of the features of a rich family's home. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Helpful staff. Conveniently located for Siena's main points of interest. Lovely views over the Tuscan countryside.
The lift seems to have a mind of its own.
Great location, the garden view was very good a good place to watch the sunset and have a wine. The house wine was cheap an very good. We did not have a garden view room and if we stay again we would pay the extra for that. Location could not be better with easy walks to most attractions. Good places to eat also very close. We would stay again. Staff were very helpful, when we arrived at the station there were no taxis, we rang the hotel and they booked one to come and get us much appreciated after a long Trian journey.
Our room faced the street and could be bit noisy at night. No other issues
everything
can not find A single fault
They have an English book shop on the ground floor. Breakfast on the terrace is beautiful. It is away from the hustle of Siena but close enough for an easy walk and easy to drive to. You need to know that when driving there you need to drive through the "Porto St Marco" gate, ignore the no cars signs and camera, when you get to the hotel, park anywhere, drop your bags, give them your registration and they arrange a permit for you and give you directions to their car park which is under the hotel. You park their and walk back through their garden.
Absolutely loved the whole experience and the view was breathtaking. Excellent breakfast !!
Nothing
Perfect location, gorgeous hotel, amazing view!
Siena is quite difficult to drive in - some more specific instructions regarding how to get to the hotel would have been useful.
The gardens, staff & breakfast were absolutely lovely! Really unique decore in the rooms & bar were great perks.
An on-site restaurant would be great- but the restaurants they recommended were really good.
Right in the centre of Siena, free private parking and lovely room. Situated on a very quiet road (trafico limitato). Very friendly & helpful receptionist (Francesca). Nice wines per glass or bottle, beautiful garden. Enter Siena through San Marco gate, turn left and straight ahead to the hotel. No other way to get there!
No real Italian capuccino at breakfast (machine coffee) and eggs would have been nice to have included rather than at extra charge.
Great view, convenient location in historic center, parking, view. I also appreciated the wine bar in the lobby.
When booking hotel in Siena, I was looking for free parking, free wi-fi and center location. All that you can find in Palazzo Ravizza, plus wonderful garden with amazing view. Breakfast is offered in garden, so that gives extra charm to that hotel. Hotel has private secured parking lot (they will give the directions after check-in) and it takes appr 10 by foot to the Siena Palio. We stayed only for one night, so we took the only available loft room. As it is located on attic and doesn’t have elevator access, it might be not the best option for longer stay and with big luggage. For us it wasn’t problem and also loft room was very convenient. Enough space for luggage, very comfortable beds and nice view over the rooftops. Air-conditioning worked well and the only sound we heard was from church bells. Two bottles of water as courtesy from hotel were waiting in hotel room when we arrived. Small thing but highly appreciated in +36 degrees Celsius. Bathroom (with shower) was average, but provided olive oil shampoo which was better than those I get from salon. Wi-fi worked smoothly, bit challenging to find sockets for all adapters (iPhones, tablets etc). Breakfast was modest, but fresh and tasty. Coffee was served from self-service machine and had acceptable standard. Still - for one morning it was OK for me, but for longer stay I would have started to miss real Italian coffee. I loved our stay in Palazzo Ravizza and I was sorry for staying only one night. Good service (we were able to keep our car on parking space after check-out) and extremely romantic garden make it perfect for Italian holiday.
upgraded coffee machine would make good to excellent.
Fantastic location as well for the back view (Tuscany landscape) as for the city visit (within the city walls). The great style of an old Palazzo.
Loved the newly renovated large room on the top floor - had air conditioning and nice view overlooking the city. The staff provided a map with a list of restaurants they like when we checked in - we ate at two of them and both were excellent!
The outdoor garden was a magnificent place for breakfast and pre dinner drinks.
This is a great hotel the staff are super friendly and location is great its away from the noise of campo but within short walking distance. The rooms are really big and the views are amazing. Our favorite part was the beautiful gardens.
It was a bit pricey at 160 euro per night and the breakfast could have more variety.
Everything. Beautiful hotel with an accommodating staff and a gorgeous view with a perfect location to a wonderful town. The breakfast was also exceptional and abundant with cheese and fresh sausage. Perfection!
Cannot say a thing bad it was perfect
The staff, the views, the garden, the position, relaxed atmosphere, convenient parking, garden.
Stunning location within the city walls, close to all old sienna has to offer and very convenient with private parking. Room wonderful though rear ones have magnificent countryside views Breakfast on the garden terrace just amazing This superb find and we will return
It was perfect!
lacation, parking, aircon, view Reception staff very helpful
breakfast selection, hard bed (for some), the booking had not been registered at hotel when we arrived
Staff very friendly and helpful. View from our room looking at the scenery. Very nice back garden. Reasonable prices at the Bar.
I love the ambience of this place. This was my third stay and I still love it. Beautiful garden and views.
Scrap the coffee machine at breakfast and serve fresh coffee. Pity they've stopped half board. Road is very noisy at front of hotel.
The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Siena's main attractions but with a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside from the garden at the rear of the hotel. I adored my loft room and its views of the Siena roof line. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel, but it should be noted that the lift does only go to the third floor and that guests staying in the three loft rooms do have to carry their cases up a further flight of stairs; this will not be a problem for most people.
Location, service, style, room, views from garden across countryside.
A bit expensive. Loud Americans.
Staff was great, view from large garden out to the hills beyond was inspiring, close to center city activities, large clean, recently updated room, great breakfast experience. Look forward to returning again and again. Wine service and bookstore inside. Grand piano and large public rooms. Quiet neighborhood.
Far from train station and bus port. Needed to take taxi. Too far with luggage to walk. This was only a minor drawback.
Very nice hotel within the city wall. Unbelievable view in the deluxe room. We stayed in room 16 on floor 2.
Can't think of anything.
Beautiful gardens and rooms. Excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful.
Staff,ambience,garden and the room.
Large well laid out rooms Friendly helpful staff Quiet Value free parking beautiful garden great buffet breakfast FREE WI-FI in rooms and throughout hotel.
Although they say they have a proper bar, would not recommend it, as they do not have anyone who can make proper drink, although you can pour a glass of wine yourself which is nice.
Impressive hotel that had a good feel to it , staff very helpful. Hotel also has parking. Our room was of a very good size with an enormous bed and it also had a solid wooden floor which is so much nicer than tiles in the winter. Pretty garden with stunning view from terrace.
I dont like walking uphill so Siena was not great for that but nowhere near as bad as Assisi. A difficult city to navigate by car.
