We cycled into Lucca on the bikes provided, walked in the hills nearby where olives were being harvested and enjoyed a meal provided by Lorenzo with local cheeses, meats and wines and his own olives. Biggest place we stayed on our trip and a nice change from the cramped room we had in Paris - From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and told about local restaurants and places to see. The room was wonderful - high ceilings , big comfortable bed and lovely decor.The room was big and spacious with a wonderful bathroom. Easy walking distance to the main attractions of Florence - the C 2 - small buses - stops close by if too tired to walk back to the hotel at the end of the day.Plenty of places to eat. Would recommend Trentatre.
