  My wife and I first went to Il Casolare di LIbbiano on our honeymoon 25 years ago. This year we went back to mark our anniversary, conscious that it might have declined in quality over the years. And the food is even better than 25 years ago,.We are so glad we went back - It's a quiet, relaxing place to stay, and a chance to wind down if you're on a driving tour. Even so, attractions such as Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena are all within manageable distances. Andrea and Berta work hard to try and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

  Die Villa is genau so wie beschrieben, insgesammt 10 Zimmer, Suite Nr. 5 war groß (45m2) und sehr schön eingerichtet (tolle Möbel, Frigobar, Aircondition, broßes Bad, Föhn, etc). Das Team ist super aufmerksam, alles ist liebevoll gemacht, die Küche ist excellent (haben jeden Abend dort zu Abend gegessen), großer Pool mit Liegen, alle Außenanlagen ... was die leute sagen » super gepflegt, Parkplatz. Sehr gut gelegen, alle interessanten Städte sind einfach zu erreichen. Tolles Ambiente, toller Urlaub, wir werden bestimmt - Villa La Fornacina is a green oasis in Figline Valdarno. The elegant Villa has nicely been renovated recently. We stayed for two weeks in one of the rooms in the annex building: a luxury living room, with the open bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. All facilities present. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, and very helpful: they took great care of my wife who needs lactose-free food (they prepared special 'dolce'). The restaurant is fine, the wine is good. We had dinner outd - The rooms are exactly like the pictures. The staff are super friendly, helpful, attentive and welcoming. Service is great. All facilities are brand new.
