Absolutely brilliant place to stay. I could not recommend it more. Carmen and Vincenzo are probably the nicest people you'll ever meet. Vincenzo came to pick us up at the ferry. It was a familiar and lovely welcome in the residence. The hoteliers, Carmen and Vincenzo, are more than friendly! Vincenzo picked us up from the ferry and Carmen showed us around the residence. It is a wonderful site a few steps away from main street and port with a fantastic sea view. The rooms have a proper size and are modern and clean. The bad is sooo comfortable.
We had a perfect one-week stay in “Le Terrazze”, almost felt like home, especially because of the nice (English speaking) hote

I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

We were the only quests in this 200 years old villa from lava stones (being partly reconstructed at the time). Only Italian speaking staff Rosetta was so kind and natural taking care of us "like a mother". She even called her friend speaking English to ease our communication.

From the welcome at the gate, the private tour through the cantina, the welcome bottle of red wine, the suite, the people, we enjoyed all and can only recommend a stay in this very special place. Our only problem was, we booked just one night… Next year we will spend more days in Feudi del Pisciotto! -

"nowhere" is a fantastic place where to stay and relax.

Turned out that renting an apartment at Case Don Ignazio in southern Sicily was an excellent idea. Located at the top of the hill, surrounded by lime and orange orchards, and olives groves at the downhills, with spectacular view over Ionian see on the left and baroque beauty Rosolini on the right. It's a beautiful, tranquil place, high in the hills, deep in the countryside, with a breathtaking view of mount Etna. For me, it was the loveliest place in all of Sicily. Our hosts were charming and genuinely welcoming and friendly. This place is quite special and I hope, one day, to visit again.
