  We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily!   My husband and I stayed at the B&B Serpotta when we first arrived in Sicily and liked it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We also rebooked at the B&B for our last night before heading home. The rooms/suites are beyond what you would expect from a B&B. The B&B also has a hot tub and workout area which again is beyond most B&B - I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... was die leute sagen » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!
