  The location is really good and also safe with 3 layers of doors and a 24hr reception. We had one day to see Rome so the lady on reception gave us a map and drew out where to go. She also gave us tips on where to eat and how to get to the airport. We booked a private room for three so had to walk about 300m from the freedom traveller - which was no bother because we were upgraded to an ensuite. Only about a 15 minute walk from the colosseum.

The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spacious and the bed was very comfy. The view from our room over Gaeta old town and the bay was amazing. The view from the roof terrace where we had breakfast was even better. Coffee, tea and fruit were available to us all day and the breakfast was wonderful. A truly wonderful place to stay in a fascinating location.
