  This hotel was conveniently located to the train station. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, the room was rather large compared to any of our other Italian hotels and the bathroom was huge for Italian standards. The restaurant was decorated in Ferrari memorabilia and we were right at home.   We travelled around Emilia-Romagna during our Easter holidays and the first stop was in Modena. We had a family room at the hotel and it includes 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The unusual thing is that the bedrooms have sinks but it was convenient. It was one of the biggest rooms in the hotel and is perfectly fine for 5+ people to sleep. He recommended us a nice p - Always a bonus for a solo, oldie, traveller to get a full size double room rather than a pokey broom-cupboard. This family run hotel is a joy to stay in with the Old Town just a five minute walk away. I keep seeing other reviewers moaning about lack of variety for breakfast in these budget priced hotels but, for goodness sake, a good supply of coffee, toast, spreads, juices and yoghurt is quite enough and that's what you get here plus the pleasant conversation with the hard-working proprietor.
