  The hotel is very close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station and just 10-15 min. walk away from major sights. We had a very spacious corner room with high seilings, so it never got very hot and it was enough to switch the air conditioner on for a couple of hours in the evening to keep the room cool all night. Hosts Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights - another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this place was great.

  Such an amazing place to stay while exploring Florence. The host Riccardo is a welcoming, friendly and informative person, who ensured our holiday was a wonderful experience. He advised us on brilliant places to visit, delicious places to eat and helped us to get the best out of trip to Florence. The room was original and beautifully decorated with original artworks. - Great location- 15 min walk to the centre and 10 mins to the main train/bus station. Best part about staying here is the wonderful host- Riccardo. Upgraded us to a lovely room with conplimentary wine as we were celebrating a special occasion. Gave us tips on the best places to eat and see, definitely made it more comfortable staying here knowing we had our own personal tour guide in the same building :) would 100% come back!

I would also mention that when my wife and I just arrived, Ervis, a staff member gave us a thorough introduction about Florence, which was really help.
