Capri Hotels

We stayed in Capri for 1 night and this was the last place to visit on our trip to Italy. We arrived by Ferry early in the morning and went straight to the hotel. Since our room wasn't ready that early, they let us keep our bags there and the front desk staff helped up book a trip to see the blue grotto. I was all so fast that they set it up and we were on our way 1 hour later to the grotto! The next day after checkout they also let us keep our bags up front so we can explore until we needed to - Alan

My husband and I went to Capri for the weekend and stayed here! The service was outstanding. The front desk crew was very helpful. The location of the hotel is the best! It is litterally right off of the Marina Grande. The ticket booths, souvenir shops and the funicolare is right there! We had room 41 and the terrace covers a wide area and it looks right out at the water. The room was smaller than most but it was just the right size for 2 people. Wow. Wow. Wow. Located in Piccolo Marina, this resort is a short walk down the hill to the beach (round, smooth stones - they give you mats to lie on). They have their own shuttle that takes you from and to the Ferry port for a small fee, and for free every 10 mins from morning to night to the town of Capri for shopping, food, walking. Our travel agent booked the property for us as we had told them we wanted something in Capri or Positano and that we were considering either going for our honeymoon or actually getting married there. I was able to communicate via email with Silvia Federico who is the assistant general manager there and found her incredibly accomodating and capable. We just returned from an overnight stay at the Hotel Bristol on Capri. We had a wonderful time and the hotel surpassed our expectations. We booked through the hotel directly and reserved an ocean view suite (we have 2 young children). Our rate of 150 Euros included the suite and breakfast inclusive (remember, November is off season in Capri). My husband and I came to Capri on honeymoon and although we did not actually stay in this hotel we had dinner here 2 nights. The lobby was lovely and the bar area was very chic & sophisticated. The cocktails were also great. We ate once in the dining room and the other time outside and both areas were very pleasant. I have to say that the Prawn & asparagus risotto was outstanding. We had planned a day trip to Capri but when we arrived we just had to stay. We walked into the Best Western Syrene to check availability for 2 nights and Vittorio could not have been more helpful. He showed us 3 different room types, and a brief tour of the hotel itself. He took our map and listed all the attractions we should see during our stay and how to get there. Do not look any further, this is the hotel you want to be staying at, trust me!!! The service was excellent, the room was beautiful, and we were treated like royalty. We were picked up from Marina by the car and were taken to the beautiful hotel. As we got there, the manager told us that we will get an upgraded room for the same price. Villa Helios is a "casa per ferie" (holiday home). it has 23 rooms, very cheap, very clean and very quiet, but in centre of Capri town. Reach it from the Piazetta at end of the fernicular, taking the arch on the right , between house numbers 11 and 12. In 5 minutes you reach Hotel J.W. Marriott Tiberio Palace and Villa Helios is just a few meters further, on the right. It is a beautiful old villa, with big garden with old trees. We arrived in Capri by hydrofoil after spending the day before in Naples. We were met on the dock by a representative from the hotel and left our bags for delivery. He explained to us to to find the hotel. FYI best to pay attention! We proceeded to the funicular to ascend to the top of the hill. This was our first time in Capri and it was magical to walk into the piazzetta. There are many high end shops and cafes as well and narrow alleys and arched entrances. It was beautiful.
