  If I could give 11 out of 10, I would. This is the cleanest and friendliest hostel I have ever stayed in--and to be honest I've stayed in 3-hotels which weren't as nice (and 4-star hotels where I was unable to sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable!!!). The beds are amazing. The rooms are brand new!! The 8-person bunk rooms have a lovely view ... was die leute sagen » of the courtyard. In the evening there was music and people talking until the wee hours of the night. You even get a 2 for 1 drink card so you can soc - This place is magical. The staff are incredible. They took Matteo (my Palermitano cat) into their arms. I met so many wonderful individuals here, I only have Agora' 2 thanks 4 that unique opportunity & already look foward to returning in October. I could go on and on about the city as well. Such acts of kindness I have rarely experienced anywhere else during all my years of travel. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one.   excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... was die leute sagen » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.
