  My wife and I stayed at the Royal Hotel the last night of our stay in Greece. We were looking for someplace close to the airport, due to our early morning flight. We were pleasantly surprised when, upon check-in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a "Sea view room", which included breakfast, however, due to the fact that we would be... was die leute sagen » leaving before 5:00 am, the restaurant would not be open, so the front desk personel arranged to have a box breakfast for my wife and I. We were inv - The staff! They are absolutely the best. Even before we arrived, they made themselves available via email to answer all sorts of questions as well as offer very helpful advice. Those interactions made us feel as if we had friends waiting to greet us in Greece. This was especially helpful since Thessaloniki was the start of our 17-day trip (via car) throughout Greece. When we arrived at the airport at midnight (after traveling nearly 24 hours from San Diego), three of our five pieces of luggage

Amazing food - fusion cuisine. 100 m close to the sea, but the beach is not superb though very decent. Thera are couple of fireplaces in the lobby and the feeling was magic. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, no problem to park and I really injoyed winter spa wekend in this hotel. Outside of the hotel with sweeming pools is also nice but not interesting in this time of the year.   We loved everything about this beautiful new resort!! The place was as clean and inviting as you can imagine. The view and feeling from our balcony in an ocean view room was spectacular, but we could also go to the other side of the hotel for great views of Mount Olympus. The location was amazing! Sea on one side and mount Olympus on the other. The hotel is really new (i think it opened in 2012). When we arrived we got an upgrade to a junior suite with a mountain view due to availability. The room was perfect! Spacious, clean, luxurious! The jacuzzi at the balcony was great and i totally recommend it. The staff was very helpful and polite. The facilities were worthy of the hotel's five star category.
