  We chose to stay at Phidias Piraeus because we needed a hotel close to the port seeing we were taking a ferry at 7:25 am. Well they were wonderful! First, we got there early from our other location and we needed to get our rental car back to downtown Athens. They had no problem in letting us leave our luggage there while we took our car back. 'W - This is an excellent hotel. It has been recently refurbished, so both our room and the public areas were clean and modern. The friendly staff were courteous and very efficient at their jobs. We were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and given advice about local restaurants and shops. The hotel is located in a nice safe part of Piraeus, near the marina, shops and many restaurants. The buffet was very good, especially with the fresh fruit on offer. Like probably many visitors, we only stayed

The view from the top 7th floor was spectacular.The buses and trams stopped right - The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went out of their way on several occasions . It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite.
