  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street.   We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was clean and simple, and also had a balcony with an excellent view of the acropol... was die leute sagen » is... It took two of us to hold up the shutter to get out to the balcony ; ) but was a great view and completely unexpected for the price! A great bud - All the staffs are so nice and helpful. Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.

  This is a hotel for the no-nonsense traveler that wants to spend his time visiting the wonders of Athens. Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day.   Location was great for exploring Plaka, and all Athens monuments. It was also quiet. Our room on 3rd floor got Wifi signal, but the Wifi was only supposed to be in common areas. Big plus. The location was fantastic, right near the metro station and many poplar sites in athens, also very easy to find, the dorm rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable.
