We weren't aware of the lack of an airconditioner as it wasn't necessary in the spring weather.   Great location, great apartment - clean, neat, bright, ground level. Had a grand piano which is a plus for us as my son plays piano. Easy to get to. One full/double bed and one pull-out sofa bed. Nice kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, dishes, etc. Bathroom w/tub/shower, washing machine and hairdryer included.   I liked the fact that it was so close to a U-Bahn station, close to other major U and S-Bahn stations. The apartment was absolutely comfortable and it was equipped with all the basics one could need. The internet was pretty good for my basic needs, after all I didn't go to Berlin just to stay in the apartment. It was in a great area, right by U-Bahn and other public transport, and walking distance from some great places.
