Characterful B & B (not an hotel) in an old large family house with spacious rooms, solid furnishings and décor from a bygone era, overlooking the Loire with a tram service 250m away into Tour city centre. The large bed was the best we slept in out of 9 on our trip. Breakfast pastries and coffee wonderful. Proprietress welcoming and very helpful.

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful yet in a discreet way. Our room was wonderfully furnished and decorated in an antique style that 'themed' with the royal city of Loches. Tired from travelling we lounged in the sunshine in the little garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and great taste everywhere.

I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. The owners were very polite and helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay

We had a fantastic time at La Closerie Saint Vincent. Marie and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved the old house which has beautifully renovated as a B&B with wonderful decor and every comfort. The breakfast was excellent with fresh, home cooked jams and cakes and the location perfect for a trip to the chateaus of the Loire Valley. Marie, the host, could not have been more helpful with her suggestions about places to visit. I would highly recommend the B&B for a perfenct stay in the Loire Valley.

We booked at the last moment in a hurry... we didn't check the reviews or anything we just went for it. Driving there we went up the wrong road and our hearts dropped thinking it was going to be a crummy place based on the lay of the land. Once we got back on track the main road faded away to a long driveway to a perfect chateau experience. Its been really well renovated. Rooms are expansive with beautiful views. Delphine was a really lovely hostess. Very genuine and easy going. Fantastic location if a quiet retreat is what you are after. A car is a must. Wow!! The property is next to the river Loire and easy to find. On arrival we were met by the lovely friendly couple who own the Chambres dHotes working on their part of the caves. Spending the night in a cave that feel modern and has a swimming pool is great! The owner is very welcoming. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.

This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. was so quiet and yet right in the middle of Amboise! Perfect location.
