We've traveled extensively, and it's hard to find a place that makes you feel at home even as you enjoy the luxury of being on vacation. This hotel is a superb base from which to visit the Loire and many of its chateaux. - The room was large, particularly for France, and very well appointed. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

  I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. They made us welcome from the first minute, and did everything they could to help us to enjoy the beautiful city of Tours. La Héraudière is a lovely house with a delightful garden, and our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was a particular pleasure.
