The front desk in general guided us about train stations, restaurants and everything else that we needed. The location is spot on with the metro station right next door. Even though the hotel was rather 'tired' it had everything I wanted - room service, a kettle in the room, bathrobe, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in a hotel for a long time! The location is perfect. If you are young, you can walk everywhere. As a back up, two metro stations, Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg-Saint Denis are only steps away.
I was worried about the traffic noise at night, but on the third floor it was no problem.

helpful and there is a small lift in the hotel.
