We arrived at this splendid hotel on a cold, sunny February afternoon and were immediately struck by the peaceful, well maintained grounds of this impressive chateau, situated in a rather uninteresting part of France. We had chosen to stay here for a short break because of it's reasonably close proximity to the Channel Tunnel and because we were impressed by the hotel website, which is imaginative and does truly reflect the qualities of the place.
