Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

Hotel location is in a good part of the city. The stuff is doing everything to satisfy customers. At first, we have been located to a room that we didn't like. We explained to reception our complaints and asked for room change. But unfortunately all same level rooms were occupied. Anyway, they have upgrated us to another room type and changed room

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the pedestrian street and public transport, but far enough to not get any noise from it. Lobby is grand, and the open restaurant is excellent, get the grilled salmon for lunch! Gym facilities and pool is fantastic, lots of space and good equipment. The room & bathroom are spacious and well equipped, with complimentary bath salts, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Excellent on all counts. Staff, rooms, gym, comfort, location...everything is perfect. The ladies at the front desk are really nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was larger than advertised. The view of the city was wonderful. I felt safe and protected in the building, never seen so many cameras in any building before. The internet was really fast and reliable the entire time I was there.
I will definitely come back there again when I am in Shanghai. 10/10

The location of this hotel is perhaps only surpassed by its design. The rooms are something else here! Very well thought out, they could well be the best I ever stayed in. I would also be surprised if the pool did not get any design awards. Awe inspiring! -
