This was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast. We had an excellent time and David and Randi are great hosts, they do a good job of engaging the guests on their own but also letting the guests socialize during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, we have a few food intolerances and not only were they able to accommodate them the breakfasts were as good as any of the fine dining meals you will find in town. David shops at the farmer's market in town during the morning so you know the ingre.
alle bewertungen » We were visiting Stratford to attend plays at the Stratford Festival and just to soak up the atmosphere of the town. Woodmont was central and in easy walking distance from all of the theatres, the river, town centre and numerous eating places. The breakfasts were excellent. The owners very pleasantly friendly. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was compact but well organized with lots of space. All in all, we enjoyed our night there thoroughly and will stay there again. The owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely. The breakfast was delicious with great options. Very social - get to meet other guests and chat over breakfast or in sitting areas. I like the breakfast very much. Superb. I liked the theatrical decor of the house. Convenient to the theatre and downtown. I liked meeting the daughter of childhood friend from B.C. The Woodmont Guest House is very nicely located. You can walk downtown or to the theater. It is clean and very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Randi and David were excellent hosts. The parking is tight, but understandable due to the location in town in the residential theatre area. However, David was very reassuring about the ability to get in and out if we were going to use our car. We ended up never needing are car because of the great location we could just walk everywhere, and they were great about allowing our car to remain after checkout so we could enjoy our last day in town before heading home. The nearby Ontario Street was busy and noisy all day and night, but not too intrusive when inside. We didn't have enough time with Roland and MacDuff, the home's two gorgeous, sweet and friendly dogs. Next time!. Parking was a little awkward and tight. But, because of the location, the car doesn't need to be moved. A bit noisy, (traffic noise) and although we were out most of the day it would of be nice to have a TV in the room. A little street noise. somewhat pricey small bathroom. Parking shuffle, noise from busy road. It rained. nothing not to like. Inadequate on site parking. Road noise. Quite noisy-close to main highway. Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in room. nothing.
