  It was awesome place to travel alone in Banff Rockies. I met lots of people and we shared our informations. Location also nice to get to the main street (actually it was in the main st). I can't stand the choreographed and artificial style of those so-called 5 star hotels which in my opinion should be inhabited by clowns, politicians, and other pretenders who do not know what value for money is. The staff was very very kind and as it seems not to be too busy at the time we were traveling, they even offered us a bigger room, including bathroom and kitchen, for the same price! It was like an apartment and we felt very very comfortable. Breakfast was continental but not too bad to start the day. It wasn't too loud but there were still some people to talk to in the evening.   My wife and I travel yearly and Bumpers Inn has been truly the best motel we have stayed at. Lorna the front desk staff-whom I believe is the owner, is polite, professional and kind. We found her cleaning staff to be very friendly and approachable if you need supplies. Rooms are aged but its a motel/motor inn so if you want a hot tub, gym and a place for the kids while you nurse your hangover this is not your place. if you want a place that is banff budget and choose to spend your money on enjoying your stay while in banff (skiing, restaurants, child care, hot springs) than pay the 80$ and don't expect anything more than a spacious room to sleep while you explore the area. very

Melissa's (?) next door was a great location for breakfast (also good prices and staff). Great that parking is available. I would stay again for sure.

  Wir haben insgesamt drei Nächte in Heidi's B&B übernachtet. Lothar, der Inhaber, hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und sich täglich um uns gekümmert. Ja, das B&B ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Einrichtung ist nicht die modernste und manche Staubfänger gehören ausgemistet, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Und die Lage mit nur 2 Querstra... was die leute sagen » ßen zur Banff Avenue ist sensationell. Lothar hat sich jeden Abend nach uns erkundigt. Im Kühlschrank stand einiges für ein Frühstück bereit. Wir ware - Friendly welcome. Delicious breakfast left for you to enjoy in your own room when ready. Pretty garden. Close to Banff just a flat easy walk two blocks away. Easy to find. Adequate free parking. Leafy quiet street. - The owner, Lothar, was an excellent host, attentive to our needs and was so friendly and helpful. The location is less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of Banff.
