loved the location perfect for access to see the Opera Carmen at Mrs Macquaire :Point. Loved being able to walk through Royal Botanical Gardens (had a picnic) and easy acces to shopping with the free green bus just up the road. Our view from 2218 was excellent - we were really thrilled.

The staff at the front desk and the concierge were amazingly helpful and great to deal with. Even when I had to go late at night to get something from my car the concierge happily assisted me. When the lady checking us in realised we were in a group she immediately gave us rooms close to each other. We stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 2 nights. The room was very spacious, clean and the second we stepped into the room we felt we were staying in luxury. The full breakfast we had booked with the room was amazing. So much range. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel. I liked the convenience of walking to the Aquatic Centre it kept my 10yr old occupied for the afternoon.We then had a great sleep as it was very quiet. had a late flight back to Europe. When we came back to collect our bags
I asked if there was anywhere I could get changed (into travelling
clothes). I was given a pass to the inhouse gym and told I could also
use the shower. This was a fantastic service and I really appreciated
being able to do this before a 24 hour flight home!

The location was great-2 blocks to the beach and lots of restaurants, stores, walking paths, markets and transit. We were in town for a wedding and rented a 3 bedroom unit and a 1 bedroom unit. I liked the warm friendly greeting on arrival which continued throughout my stay. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. Being invited to help myself to tea & coffee in the main area at anytime even though there were facilities in the room. I felt welcome. It was lime being "Home away from home".
