  Great value for money, really friendly staff. Great pool with excellent waterslide to keep the kids amused. Good shallow pool for toddlers. Nice deep sink in room for washing baby bottles, no need to wash them in the bathroom. The staff was super friendly with us and the facilities were delightful. We really rested while staying here and we would definitely return to the resort if traveling to North Queensland.

  Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... was die leute sagen » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

We only had a one night stay as it was for medical reasons we were there, but I will return on the next trip up north. Loads of eating places in the area and a short walk over the road and you are on the beach. Great for early morning walks and swims. The Chateau also boasts a good size pool and spa. The room was well equipped, stove, microwave, a small fridge along with cutlery/crockery etc. etc.Undercover parking available at no extra cost. Good on ya Chateau.

Die Hütten sind sehr Gross und schön eingerichtet. Der Hotel Strand ist atemberaubend und das Restaurant ein tolles Erlebnis. Es ist eine tolle Sache um zeit mitten im Regenwald zu verbringen. Wir können die thala Beach Lodge jederzeit empfehlen jedoch sollten sie sich die negativen Punkte zu Herzen nehmen.

  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.
