The family room was very spacious. Apart from the 2 single and a queen bed, there was also a lounge. Kids enjoyed the afternoon in the pool. The hotel was 'coastal-style' (it has that slightly dated Aussie motel feel) but was extremely clean & tidy and had been modernised throughout. The double bed was excellent--comfortable mattress and pillows. Strong shower stream and amazing breakfast service. For the price, I believe it to be the best hotel in the area.

The living area was very spacious and we'll equipped - it was excellent for us because we were able to have big family get-togethers easily.
The swimming pool area was beautifully landscaped.
Most importantly the owner and his wife were extremely helpful and put themselves out to make sure that our stay was an extremely enjoyable one.

Location is ideal (particularly for Glasshouse). Good beds, reasonable facilities, although the buildings are shabby. Breakfast is ok, but water for tea/coffee should be heated before breakfast time. It was always lukewarm until well after opening hours (this should be in not like section)

I love the feel of it - just like grandma's
house. I first went to this motel when the children were at boarding school. They loved it too and everyone was so friendly. Parking and a buffet breakfast is also good and a wine in one of the lounges downstairs is a great end to shopping in Queen street. You can tell I'm from the bush. -

Hosts Kerry and Heather were very friendly and professional, and we could see that they were doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable. One nice touch: they left us a copy of The Canberra Times just outside the door one morning, (we're from the ACT). Their breakfast menu was fantastic. We stayed at this same place during holidays last year and liked it well enough to stay here again this year.

Really friendly and helpful staff to match expectations for a boutique hotel. The 24hour coffee shop is great, and there are some really great eateries very close by as well.
