  Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had.   With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. - Apartments are very child friendly.   All the staff were fantastic, from the concierge and receptionist to the bar and restaurant staff. They were friendly, approachable, helpful & enthusiastic. The resort was very clean and pretty with lovely gardens and ponds throughout. The pool was the perfect temperature. Plenty of sun loungers and day beds. Swim up pool bar was a bonus. We requested a room away from the noise and was given one by the management which was good.   Was more than impressed with the apartment. Was by far the best apartment I have stayed in for the price. Was close to the beach, main street, fishing and marina. Julie and Gavin were such a lovely couple. I have nothing bad to say about my stay at Port Douglas Queenslander. Pool was lovely and the gardens were beautiful and well-maintained. Staff was very friendly, very helpful and efficient. A great location with a five minute, easy walk to the shops or the beach which was excellent.

  We are from Invercargill New Zealand and my husband, myself and 22 year old son stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 5 nights. You absolutely could not get anything more spacious, clean, staff friendly and accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. The studio was very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable large bed. We over looked the garden with barbecue ,garden and pool. The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.
