We had friends staying at the same time in a loft apartment and they wish they had of booked one like ours.   The location was great, just a short walk to Hastings st and there were buggy's operating during designated hours for those who didn't want to walk. We found the walk very pleasant though. Our room was great, we stayed in a budget apartment and it was actually really lovely and alot bigger then we expected.   On arrival we found that the fully renovated penthouse apartments were overbooked but we were offered a partly refurbished penthouse suite with a complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast for two at Aromas as compensation - more than adequate as far a we were concerned.
